Whether you’re looking for a partner to help you navigate your current path more effectively, make a strategic pivot or draw a brand new map entirely, you’ve come to the right place. Welcome.
There are times – in nearly every stage of our careers – when we feel stuck, where we sense that we’ve lost the momentum that once powered us upward. Successful leaders aren’t born with the skills that push them past those obstacles. They develop them by cultivating self-awareness, a flexible, adaptive mindset and a robust network of supporters, mentors and sponsors.
I’m committed to providing the right combination of challenge and support to help you learn about yourself – and better understand how you’re perceived by others – so that you can become your most productive, most effective and most content self.
My Approach
Once we’ve identified your personal milestones of success we’ll begin the work of rooting out those habits that have held you back from reaching them. Leveraging your strengths and improving on areas of weakness, we’ll create an actionable, measurable plan so that you can start moving immediately towards the destination you’ve defined.
Fit
Establishing a productive coaching relationship starts with good chemistry. While it’s likely that our initial contact will be by phone, meeting in person will help us make sure that we both feel the fit is right. Clear Path Executive Coaching is part of an informal network of highly experienced, credentialed executive coaches and consultants. If it seems that you would be better-served by someone with a different professional background or skill set, I’ll be glad to put you in touch with the right people. You can feel certain that you’ll have many good options to choose from.
Process
Our engagement may be as short as three months or as long as a year. The duration should be determined by the scope of our work together, so establishing clear objectives – as well as specific milestones to measure success – will be our first priority. We’ll then agree on a realistic timeframe for achieving them. If we’re working together in a corporate or non-profit context, ensuring that these objectives are in alignment with your organization’s broader strategic goals and priorities is another critical early step.
If we determine that assessments and / or 360° interviews with important others in your life will help us chart your course more effectively, I’ll conduct those at the outset of our engagement. Once we get underway, our meetings will likely take place every couple of weeks, supplemented by ongoing email and telephone contact as needed. One-on-one, in-person sessions typically last between one and two hours. We can meet at your office, or mine – or another location entirely, if that makes sense.
