Nurturing a culture of growth at Wave Hill

On April 15th Jennifer joined CEO Erik Gensler and the full staff of Capacity Interactive, a leader in digital marketing for the arts, for their first annual offsite retreat at Wave Hill in the Bronx.  A company that has grown from 9 to 31 employees in the last 2 years, CI’s commitment to creating a culture built on positive team dynamics and professional development have enabled them to attract and retain top level staff and become a market leader in the field.

 

As part of CI’s full-day program, Jennifer led a presentation/conversation on verifying team members’ Myers- Briggs types.  Then she facilitated an interactive workshop to show how an understanding of MBTI type – both in ourselves and in fellow team members – can help teams leverage the power of differences, improving communication, workflow, and bringing teamwork to a new level.
